DeRay Ivie (Owner/Instructor)

DeRay was born in Portageville, Missouri and graduated from Missouri Western University with a sports marketing degree.  Mr. Ivie started martial arts at the age of 12. He now holds a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo and is world certified by the World Taekwondo Headquarters in Seoul, South Korea. In 2006 he was one of 38 athletes invited to the Olympic Training Camp in Colorado Spring, CO allowing him to train under some of the top Taekwondo martial artists in the world such as:  Steven Lopez, Jean Lopez, Juan Moreno, and Herb Perez.  Mr. Ivie is now trained by the highly touted and very respected Grandmaster Jeff Forby who has trained over 40 years in the martial arts.


Ted Ivie (Owner/Instructor)

Ted was born in Portageville, Missouri and started martial arts at the age of 12. He currently holds a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo as recognized by the World Taekwondo Headquarters in Seoul, South Korea.  Mr. Ivie has a college education from Southeast Missouri University in business.  Since the age of 18, he has been a full-time instructor and a professional martial arts school manager.  Mr. Ivie’s teacher is Grandmaster Jeff Forby of Murphysboro, Illinois who holds an 8th degree black belt in Taekwondo.
